Gateshead West Uniform Scheme
💙 Good News Friday 💙

With the cost of living continuing to put pressure on many households, we wanted to highlight the fantastic support available through Gateshead West Uniform Scheme.

The scheme is currently offering grants to help eligible families with the cost of school uniform for children attending:
✅ Thorp Academy
✅ Whickham School
✅ Kingsmeadow Community School
✅ St Thomas More Catholic School
✅ Emmanuel College
✅ SEND schools

Support is available towards the purchase of certain uniform items for families who meet the eligibility criteria and can provide evidence of qualifying benefits.

School uniforms can be a significant expense, particularly for families with multiple children, so we’re delighted to see this support being made available to help ensure every young person can start school feeling confident and ready to learn.

📵 Just one day to go! ☕

Tomorrow we’ll be hosting the Digital Detox Coffee Afternoon with NE Community Pathways Trust here at Blaydon Youth and Community Centre.

If you fancy taking a break from screens, social media, emails and notifications for a couple of hours, come along and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of conversation, games, crafts, books and good company.
