Hi everyone, my name is Antony Miller. I am organising this year’s Deaf Weekend Blackpool (temp) on Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday 28th August to Sunday 30th August 2026. Everyone is welcome!

The venue will be Wetherspoon Pub – The Albert and The Lion, Bank Hey Street, Blackpool FY1 4RU.

The bar is open until 1am on Friday and Saturday, and it is right on the seafront. If anyone wants to go to a nightclub afterwards, that is your own choice.

I am only helping to organise the pub meet-up this year as a temporary organiser, so I hope you all understand. This is a one-off event for 2026 only, and hopefully someone may take over in future years.

Hope you all come and enjoy your weekend from 28th–30th August 2026.

Hey All... Thanks for bring there this weekend I do hope you enjoyed it... it was exhausting trying to get things right I am sure that it could've been alot easier... the turn out for me was good ... Thankyou for supporting me and it was so nice to hear people saying thankyou for organising this event... Here's to next year guys have a safe journey home... ❤️

Hi All...

DEAFPOOL RALLY 2024 30th August - 1st September

Just letting you know what the plans are now....

I will be in wetherspoons about 5pm for a few drinks i will let you all know what tshirt i will be wearing so that you can come and get your wristbands.

On the FRIDAY :

Slug & Lettuce PUB... I will be there from 7pm and will be selling the wristbands we have got the upper floor in Slug & Lettuce for the evening till 11pm..

From 11pm you may choose where to go i know a few will want to goto a casino there is one big one in Coral Island and there will be free nightclub entry for everyone with a wristband all night.

Saturday i have spoken with Pleasure Beach and you can get a 15% discount on the ticket if you book the day before you go the tickets on the day are £50 but if you book online you will only have to pay £33...

Saturday evening from 7pm.. I am still waiting to hear from slug & lettuce about this so will keep everyone informed.

Saturday Evening again POPWORLD and maybe Triology nightclubs.... i am in talk with the owner and should be getting a responce from both these venues today but definatly popworld will allow us in .

I have tried to get drink discount but i couldnt IM SORRY... but there are always deals in both venues Slug & Lettuce and also POPWORLD both have drink deals.
