Streetlife Charity that supports vulnerable and often homeless young people aged 16-25 in Blackpool

We are youth charity providing emergency overnight accommodation, food, showers, clothes washing facilities and support at the night shelter at St Johns Square Blackpool

The Base, Buchanan St Blackpool provides access to the drop-in centre where there is an empowering community providing emotional & practical support. Specialist services such as counselling, victim support, sexual health advice,

alcohol & substance abuse advice. Internet access, sports, arts, wellbeing workshops, cooking, lifeskills, food parcels, housing support, educational & employment advice.

We were delighted to be invited to the Charity Giving Night. It is wonderful to see so many worthy causes in one room and humbling to hear how many our local Freemason Lodges support.

We would like to thank all of the individuals involved in donating £800 to over the last year. Your ongoing support of our service is vital to local young people in crisis 👏

We are an inclusive and welcoming environment with lots of support on offer including food parcels, toiletry parcels, housing advice, benefit advice or just a friendly face to have a brew and a chat with ☕

Yesterday we served tea and cakes along with a jar of positivity… where young people had written little messages of . Then today our volunteers were treated to a relaxing morning including facials from the awesome Engage 4 Change team.

We’re busy getting ready for Volunteers’ Week 2026 🥳 We love this time of year as we get to celebrate our volunteers who selflessly give their time all year round to help others.

Our young people have been planning lots of ways to show our appreciation throughout the week and we will keep you updated on all the celebrations 🎉

has the support of over 30 amazing - from those who donate their time on the frontline at The Base and Shelter, including our overseas volunteers, to our Trustees, Food 4 Thought volunteers and Friends of Streetlife Fundraising team.. it takes a whole village.

This week is all about showing our appreciation as we could not support so many local young people without you!

There are lots of celebrations this week for 🥳 including a BBQ on Wednesday (fear not, we have the gazebo ready just incase this rain continues!)

If you are age 16-25 come on down and join us for a , choice of activities and lots of practical and emotional support from our welcoming duty team. No appointment or referral needed... just pop down to 48 Buchanan St.

SAVE THE DATE! Following the success of our Christmas Fair, our young people are now planning a event for our wonderful !

Please join us on Friday 24th July at The Base, 48 Buchanan St 12-3pm for a sun filled (fingers crossed) get together and grab a bite to eat, test your skills at some old school games and chance your luck on the tombola.

We are so grateful to everyone who attended our Family Fun Day West Coast Rock Cafe, thanks to you we raised an amazing £1376!!

Thank you to everyone who attended our and the biggest shout out to our phenomenal Friends of Streetlife fundraising team for organising such a great 👏🏻

The money raised will go to great use in supporting vulnerable local young people in crisis and proves yet again that is alive and well in !
