About Us
We are a wonderful group of creative people who came together to make a difference in Blackpool. We are keen to create a calming and fun community space. Come and join the community by talking, helping, smiling, lending an ear, sharing a cuppa, being creative, gardening and having fun.
Our original base The Space and The Studio at 59 and 61 Cookson Street in Blackpool was a wonderful place, we was opened for a year, and now we are bringing things into the wider community. We was a vegan and eco space, treading lightly on this earth and we still believe in those values.
We was blessed by Blackpool Council, for granting us free rent for one year because they believed this project was good for the area. We still had other bills and insurance to pay, so we was happy to accept sponsorship, donations and funding to keep the building running, unfortunately this didn’t go to plan but thankfully with Ruby’s student loan and self employed work for both Ruby and Kane, we managed to keep it going.
