Outreach today:- we had the opportunity to pray with these two beautiful souls. They shared their own walk with Jesus and their battles they want Jesus to help them with. So I decided to go all out and I've invited them to church on Sunday. We helped a homeless man who is wanting to go into recovery but is homeless. He was wet through and cold, so I gave him warm clean clothes and a ruck sack with essentials in. Good day out in the margins with Matthew bringing the gospel to people. 💪

Blackburn Outreach
❤️🙏 Busy couple of days supporting the needs of many
We helped 20 + individuals with
🍕food,
🎒provisions,
🙏prayer,
🗣conversations,
🫶encouragement.
We provided one gentleman assisted by his support worker with a phone to help him progress going forward .
Helped another contact legal aid, housing support, and his solicitors,
Sat with one man for over an hour in recent bereavement, simply listening and being present .
Whist being there for many others at our Hub a warm safe place to offer most of all a listening ear ,time, being supportive in there struggles and needs.
We had more in-depth conversations about recovery and housing with many.
Blessed to be a blessing 🕊️
And just as we finished we heard an amazing story, we spoke to one individual previously homeless/addiction was supported by us who now has a sense of hope in his life and is housed/drug free and his life has completely been transformed for the better with purpose and stability. It reminds us why we do what we do..
🌟It’s a privilege to shine God’s light and remind people they’re not forgotten or alone.

Me, Matthew and Sarah would like to thank Mellor church in Blackburn on behalf of the people we get in the hub. There was a big donation of biscuits, chocolate, socks, underwear, clothes, warm hats, gloves ECT. It was much needed and appreciated. I forgot to take a picture, I'm sorry 😐

❤️ Outreach & Soup Table – Blackburn ❤️

What an amazing team of beautiful volunteers with such big hearts! 🙏

Another opportunity to come together, share, help, guide and show love and compassion, while shining the beautiful light of Jesus into people's lives. ✝️

We were blessed to spend time with people who are homeless, those struggling, and people living on the margins of society. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give is simply our time, a listening ear.

🤝 Two people were spoken with about possible recovery referrals for rehabilitation. We’re hopeful they will engage with our Thursday drop-in, where we can continue to support them and help facilitate this positive step forward in their lives.

🥫 Provisions were also handed out to someone in need, while time was given to others who simply needed a safe space to talk and share about the struggles they are facing.

We also had the opportunity to pray and talk with some of the people passing by about the beauty of Jesus and our need for Him. 🙏❤️

Me and a few other homeless pastors are doing a homeless sleep out under the stars to raise money for our charity, the light group. This raises awareness and money for the charity so we can continue to do what we are doing. Please sponsor me if you can thank you Wendi 🙏😊

I am doing a sleepout for the night in a car park with a sleeping bag and a pillow. Please help me raise money for the light group who support people living in the margins. The homeless, addicted and people dealing with debt.

The hub was open today for tea, toast and God. We helped a homeless man who was sleeping on just a towel. He got a rucksack full of equipment. A few items of clothes handed out. A man came in for just a brew and prayer so me and Sarah were happy to fulfill his request. Went on outreach to speak to our usual homeless people in town. A good day today.
