🧡 A massive THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Ossett and the people of Ossett!

We’re absolutely delighted to have once again been chosen as one of the local organisations to receive a donation from the Rotary Club of Ossett’s Santa’s Grants, funded through their Christmas collections.

This generous donation will help us continue providing our off-road buggy passenger ride sessions for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs from Ossett and the surrounding areas.

These sessions bring so much enjoyment, excitement and plenty of smiles, giving young people the opportunity to experience something they might otherwise miss out on.

A huge thank you to everyone at the Rotary Club of Ossett, all the volunteers who give up their time, and of course the wonderful people of Ossett who generously support their fundraising each Christmas.

Your support really does make a difference, and we’re incredibly grateful to be one of the organisations benefiting again this year! 🧡

Thank you from everyone at BUMPY Ltd!

We don’t often post about issues like this, but this one really matters to us.

BUMPY has worked closely with the Off-Road Bike Team for many years, and we’ve seen first-hand just how important it their work is.

They cover a huge area and do far more than simply deal with illegal riding. Over the years they’ve spent time with our young people, helping to educate the next generation of bikers about the law, the importance of riding safely and responsibly, and the very real consequences of riding illegally.

Just as importantly, they’ve helped break down barriers.

They’ve spoken openly with young people who may not always feel comfortable engaging with the police, answered questions they were unsure or even nervous to ask, and helped them understand what they can and can’t do when it comes to motorcycles and off-road riding.

That kind of education and engagement makes a difference.

At BUMPY, we will continue doing everything we can to educate young riders and give them a safe, legal and positive place to enjoy motorcycles. But the specialist knowledge, experience and presence of the Off-Road Bike Team is something we have valued enormously over the years.

There is currently a petition regarding the future of the team. We’d really encourage people to read it, understand what is being proposed, and make their own decision.

Please share this post with friends, family and relevant groups so as many people as possible are aware of what is happening.

They’ve supported us and our young people for many years, and we feel it’s important that people understand the role they play.
