Its feel good Friday as our new flooring is done. We are so happy as we have now future proofed the floor for a lot more years. Thanks to all those that played a part in this whether fundraising, getting quotes, moving equipment out the jewson lot. Now to let it settle and get ready for new term.

Last week we said goodbye and Thankyou to Friday Rainbows leader Emily who has stepped down from leading the unit. Emily has been amazing as a leader, ensuring girls have fun, participate in adventurous activities, and learn new things. She will be sorely missed by girls and fellow leaders alike. Thankyou Emily for everything you have done for 1st Birstall Rainbows and we wish you the best of luck with your next adventure.

Would you like to help provide new experiences to young girls? We’re looking for people over 18 who would be interested in taking on the unit.
What do you get out of it? A sense of community, the chance to develop leadership skills and confidence, the creativity to design fun activities and opportunity to make lasting friendships. Message to arrange an informal chat to find out more.

This week it’s National Volunteers Week so we’d like to take this opportunity to extend a HUGE heartfelt thanks to all our adult and young leader volunteers who help run our units and give girls the fun, new experiences, skills and friendship that Girlguiding brings. Our weekly meetings would literally not run without you. 🌟 🌟 🌟
