ny benefits to becoming a Round Tabler. Taking part in debate and organising functions and events will build leadership skills and give you public speaking abilities. Being a member of Round Table can help you enhance your personal strengths like no other organisation. Round Table opens up wonderful opportunities to become more involved in your local community and meet new friends from across the UK and the world. Helping others while having great fun and enjoying new experiences is at the very heart of Round Table. So if you want to meet like minded people from all walks of life and get the chance to broaden your horizons why not contact your nearest Table and come along to the meeting - you have no idea what you're missing! We generally meet on two Wednesday evenings each month, for a business and a social or sometimes a bit of both. Either way, there will be beer and banter - a typical "boys night out"! We meet sometimes at the Railway, the Red Lion or up at Reids (formerly the Ivory Rooms) so why not check our events calendar and invite yourself along? ⚔️ Gladiator Games 2026 ⚔️

This weekend a group of Billericay Round Table members headed to Colchester for the National Sporting Weekend, the Gladiator Games, organised by Essex Tablers and led by our very own National Sporting Weekend President.

The event struck the perfect balance between sport, socialising, making memories and celebrating everything that makes Round Table great. From competitive challenges to trying things we'd probably never normally do, it was a weekend packed with laughs, camaraderie and new friendships.

Billericay brought home a gold medal in foosball 🥇 and a silver medal in badminton 🥈 but the weekend was never really about winning. It was about stepping outside your comfort zone, meeting Tablers from across the country, sharing experiences and creating memories.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such an incredible event. 👏🥳

And he's off! 🚶‍♂️💚

Billericay ➡️ Barry Island. Around 190 miles. 7 days. All for CALM.

We’ve already passed an incredible £5,000 on GoFundMe, and Billericay Round Table have pledged a further £1,000! 💚

The support has been absolutely unbelievable. Every donation, message, share and person getting behind this means more than I can say.

Now it’s time to put one foot in front of the other and get myself home to Barry Island! 💪

🚶‍♂️ Daniel White | Billericay to Barry walk | CALM fundraiser 🚶‍♂️

Billericay Round Table is proud to support fellow tabler Daniel White, Chairman of Lichfield Round Table and Round Table West Midlands (Area 35), as he takes on an incredible challenge: walking 190 miles from , Essex to , Wales in just 7 days.

Daniel is undertaking this challenge to raise money for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a su***de prevention charity supporting people who are struggling with life, as well as those affected by su***de.

This cause is very close to Daniel's heart. Having faced personal struggles himself, he wants to help ensure that nobody feels they have to face their darkest moments alone. Daniel credits Round Table Great Britain and Ireland with providing friendship, support, purpose and a sense of belonging when he needed it most.

His journey is a powerful reminder of the difference that friendship, community and simply being there for one another can make. It's also a reflection of what Round Table is all about: bringing people together, creating lifelong friendships and supporting each other through life's challenges.

We will be supporting Daniel as he sets off from The Railway, Billericay this Sunday 16th August.

☀️ Chairman’s Annual Summer Family BBQ ☀️

What a day! Matt and Cat welcomed 30 families for the Chairman’s annual Summer Family BBQ packed with games, bouncy castles, great food and drinks with the adults and kids all having a great time.

Pretty much everything you’d expect from a Billericay Round Table get-together! 🍔🏏🍻

Some tablers reckon this year’s event may even have topped last year’s! 😉

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant day, and a special thanks to Matt and Cat for hosting us and putting up with us all! 👏

🎲🍕 2026 Sun Corner Games Night! 🍕🎲

It's not summer without our annual Sun Corner Games Night! Joined with pizza, drinks, and good company, it was a fantastic summer holiday social and a great chance to catch up with everyone.

A special highlight of the evening was welcoming Kieran as our newest member. We're delighted to officially induct him into Billericay Round Table and look forward to sharing many more events, laughs, and adventures together. The first being Round Table National Sporting Weekend held in August held in Colchester! 🏸🎾🥅

Come along to the Mill Meadows Nature Day on Saturday 2nd August – right on our doorstep at Mill Meadows, Billericay! 🌿
