Baby Basics is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling

We are excited to announce that we will be taking part in The Fun Walk 2026. This year a group of our volunteers will be completing the 5K walk around Billericay on Saturday 26th September.

Here are some photos of previous years and the generous cheque presented to us combing all our sponsorship money and the bonus pot organised by John Baron.

If you would like to sponsor us this year we have set up a Just Giving page which I will link in the comments.

As our project is organised under the charity of Revival Church Billericay, monies are processed through Revival Church bank account and are ring fenced by them for Baby Basics Billericay exclusively.

Evening all! We are super low on boys vests, baby grows and outfits in both newborn and 0-3months - are you able to help us? We are open again on Friday 21st August between 9:30-11:00 in the morning for any drop offs.

⭐️7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣⭐️

What a super morning we’ve had! We sent out bundles of clothing and equipment to 10 children this morning which brings us up to another milestone - 700!

700 children in our local community given a gift of love from their community. We feel very privileged to be able to help so many at the very beginning of their lives.

Thank you all for your immense generosity time and time again to help us achieve this.

Today we want to take a moment to remember and honour a truly special volunteer, Kate, whose kindness, compassion and dedication touched so many lives.

After sadly passing away unexpectedly in April, Kate’s legacy continues to live on through the incredible work she helped build at Baby Basics Billericay. She was the driving force behind our Sibling Bags initiative, recognising that welcoming a new baby is a big change for brothers and sisters too. Thanks to her vision and generosity, countless families have received these thoughtful gifts, helping siblings feel included and loved during an important time.

In a final act of kindness her family asked for donations to Baby Basics Billericay in lieu of flowers. We are deeply grateful that the £1327 collected at her funeral has been donated to help continue the work that she and her husband, John, began together.

John remains a valued part of our Baby Basics Billericay family and will be continuing this wonderful work, ensuring that her compassion and commitment continue to make a difference for local families.

We are incredibly thankful for everything she gave to our charity and our community. She will be greatly missed, fondly remembered, and her legacy will live on in every Sibling Bag shared with a family.

💕💙CLOSED 29th MAY!💙💕

We are closed tomorrow to give our volunteers a much needed break. However last week we gave out this Moses Basket Starter pack to our 100th child helped in 2026! Thank you all so much for your generous donations which make all this possible. We’ll be back open again next week (Friday 5th June 2026) 💕💙💕💙
