Well, well, well...the 7 x beautiful well dressings are up to see in Belper Memorial Gardens 🌸💚🌼 Blessing our waters with design offerings made with natural (decaying) materials. Keeping this Derbyshire heritage craft alive takes a lot of work/prep, so thanks to all who got involved and made it possible, especially Ruth Lewis-Jones and Fleet Arts core team (named on the Reel final poster) Jessica Murray & nice to work alongside Blue Box Belper and Belper Gardening Club in our Co-create space Central Co-op Food

We can't wait for the brilliant Belper Goes Green festival this weekend! We will be offering 1. 'Word of Mouth' poetry open mic on Friday (6.45pmish start) in the Talks tent 2. 'Tempestry' environmental art project HumaniTREE drop-in activity on Saturday, 11am-4pm in We Are Resonate Wellbeing tent 3. DJ LipGlossBoss playing vinyl tunes to get you dancing Saturday 6-8pm in the Talks tent.
There's Soooo much good stuff to see, hear, learn, try, enjoy at this local and volunteer run festival and such a bargain...so get involved and support your local good projects ✌️💚🥳

The week ahead in WELL DRESSING 🌺🌼🌸

Next week's in the Co-create Space (inside Coop, Strutt St, Belper) we are starting the 'petalling out' for our community-made wells dressings and you are all invited to come and join whether for a few minutes or a few hours! ☺️

Here are some images of us practicing the techniques along with what we created last year! You don't need to have any experience as there is friendly and informal support available along with a cuppa and a biscuit!

Monday 1st June 10am - 1pm Co-create Space - Adding dry materials and begin petalling
Tuesday 2nd June 1 - 4:30 pm Co-create Space - Petalling
Wednesday 3rd June 10am - 7pm Co-create Space - Petalling
Thursday 4th June 12 - 7pm Co-create Space - Petalling

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

We've had a great day welcoming the public to the Imagination Train exhibition installation at Cromford Mills today. 🛤️🚂

Over 200 people have come along to look at the exhibition, enjoy the train cam and try the VR headset view of our 56 train worlds! Great that so many of the people that created the train worlds have come back to see the completed installation 😃

We are at Cromford Mills for one more day so you can join us tomorrow (Monday 25th May).
