Become a certified Mental Health First Aider with this internationally recognised 2-day MHFA England course. This training gives participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to recognise the signs of common mental health issues, provide initial support, and guide someone towards appropriate help.

Celebrating the power of partnership during Volunteers' Week

The Leader and Deputy Leader of Central Bedfordshire Council recently welcomed around 60 delegates from 45 local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCS) organisations to the latest Central Bedfordshire VCS Network meeting at Priory House, Shefford.

Hosted in partnership with Community and Voluntary Service and Beds Rural Community Charity, the event provided an opportunity for organisations to network, share good practice and discuss key health and wellbeing issues, including loneliness, mental health and neighbourhood partnerships.

Now one year old, the VCS Network continues to bring together local organisations to connect services, share insights and strengthen support for communities across Central Bedfordshire.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions. We're looking forward to building on this success in year two.
