185 squadron is in Tesco!

Batley and Birstall branch RAFA has kindly put our name forward for the Tesco Stronger Starts Initiative.
Until the 31st of July 2026, we will be one of the contenders for their local fundraising.

If you shop at Tesco’s please donate a coin towards us! 🪙

This will be used for adventurous training equipment such as mountain bikes for cadets to enjoy more activities. 🚲

🏒 UK Armed Forces Ice Hockey: Inter-Service Tournament 2026 FINAL! 🏒

Thursday night was unforgettable as 185 cadets and staff packed in to watch the epic showdown: RAF Aces vs Royal Navy Destroyers!

The tension was electric, the players were fierce, and the game went right down to the last 30 seconds. 🔥

A huge shoutout to the Army and Sea Cadets who joined the fun—everyone had an amazing time! 🙌

🏆Fundraising Champions! 🏆

Our cadets and staff have worked hard to raise much needed funds for the Squardron and the RAFA (Batley & Birstall Branch) by collecting and selling RAFA merchandise at Tong Garden Centre.

A huge effort by the teams and a big thanks to all who kindly donated.

The monies will go towards the RAFA and equipment and activities that directly benefit our cadets.
