🎉 We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news! 🎉

This funding will help us continue providing vital mental health, wellbeing and community support, enabling us to reach more people and continue making a positive difference across Kirklees.

💙 Supporting Mental Health Across Kirklees 💙

At TCD Mental Health Charity, we believe that no one should have to face life’s challenges alone. We offer a range of free, welcoming support groups designed to improve mental wellbeing, reduce isolation and help people build confidence through connection, movement, peer support and lived experience.

Our current programmes include:

🇬🇧 We’re at Wakefield Armed Forces Day this Saturday! 🇬🇧

Come along and see the TCD Luke’s Lads Veterans team this Saturday from 10:00am at Pontefract Park for a fantastic day celebrating our Armed Forces community.

💪 Think you’ve got what it takes? Have a go at our Squat Challenge!

🏆 Cheer on Luke’s Lads Veterans as they take part in the Tug of War – they’ll be giving it everything, so come and show your support!

We’ll also be there to chat about the support, activities and opportunities available through TCD Luke’s Lads Veterans. Whether you’re a veteran, serving member of the Armed Forces, a family member, or simply want to find out more, we’d love to meet you.

There’ll be entertainment, displays, family activities and plenty to enjoy throughout the day.

🦋 Butterflies – Every Tuesday at Jo Cox House, Batley 🦋

Another lovely evening with our Butterflies groups this week.

Our fitness session focused on yoga, giving everyone the chance to relax, stretch and take some time for themselves while supporting both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Alongside the session, we had open and supportive conversations about:
💜 Relationships
💜 Bereavement
💜 Health

Butterflies is a safe, welcoming space where women can connect, share experiences, and support one another in a friendly, non-judgemental environment.

We deliver tailored sessions for ages 11–19, helping pupils feel supported, heard, and empowered.

Our sessions are already supporting students across secondary schools and colleges giving vulnerable young people access to the help they need in a safe, understanding environment.
