❤️ THE MORNING AFTER… ❤️

Well… what do we even do with ourselves now?! 😂

After months and months of planning, suddenly the Oakridge Community Festival is over — and this morning we’re still trying to take in just how incredible yesterday was.

The hall is quieter.

The animals, inflatables and performers have gone.

Our feet are still hurting. 😂

But we’re looking through the photos, reading your lovely comments and messages and realising just how many memories were made in those four hours. ❤️

Seeing our community come together like that was something really special.

Children running from one activity to the next. Families spending the afternoon together. People sitting and chatting. Music playing. Laughter everywhere.

That was exactly what we wanted this festival to be.

Over the next few days we’ll be sharing lots of photos from the day, thanking some of the incredible people who helped make it happen and, once we’ve counted everything…

🎄 WE’LL TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU RAISED TOWARDS OUR FREE FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVENT! 🎄

Because although the festival may be over…

what you helped us achieve yesterday isn’t. ❤️

For now, we’re going to have another cup of tea, attempt to recover 😂 and say it one more time…

Oakridge, you were AMAZING.

Thank you. ❤️
