Why not check out our website at http://www.viables.org.uk/ Situated at the heart of a craft centre, we are ideally placed to offer a wide range of regular groups for you to join, or once-off events for you to take part in. Several of our activities focus on arts and crafts fun with the help of the craft centre around us. Once a farm, the whole site is an attractive and peaceful haven within a bus

The halls and rooms we have for hire were once barns and bull pens, so we can offer an attractive setting for your special occasion - weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and children's parties. The Community Centre is run by the Viables Community Association, a registered charity, governed by its Constitution and run by a group of volunteers. If you have some spare time, why not come along and help out in the Centre, just pop into the office for more information.

Sending a big thank you to Morrisons and Tesco for their generous donations of flowers for our Memory Club.
The members loved the Chelsea Flower Show theme on Friday 22nd May and really enjoyed the flower arranging activity.
Thank you! 🌻🌸🌺🌷

🌟 Celebrating Volunteer Week 🌟

This Volunteer Week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who gives their time, energy, and compassion to support our charity. 💙

Did you know…?

Across all our activities, our incredible volunteers provide a staggering 4,687.75 hours of support every year!

That’s the equivalent of:
195 full 24-hour days
781 six-hour days
More than 2 consecutive years of six-hour days!

And the impact doesn’t stop there…

If we were to pay the minimum living wage for every volunteer hour given, it would cost our small charity an incredible £57,237.43 each year.

Our volunteers are the heart of what we do. Your dedication allows us to continue supporting our community, reaching more people, and making a real difference every single day.

Thank you for everything you do, we simply couldn’t do it without you. 💙

Children’s activities this upcoming week:

Monday: Messy Play! 1-2pm £3.50

This is a great messy play and sensory play session for children aged 0-3 years to explore their senses, get used to textures and play in a way that keeps the mess in our centre and not in your home! Join us to encourage your child to explore and learn through play.

Tuesday: Barn Tots 9:45-11:30am £3

Each week during term time we run a great parent/carer and toddler group with an area for babies too. Lots of different play activities and refreshments included. No booking needed for this.

Wednesday: Soft & Sensory play 1-2pm £3.50

Come and join us for soft and sensory play for ages 0-3 years. Set in our dimmed lit hall at Viables, there's lots to explore from the ball pit to many sparkling lights, an interactive projector and lots more creating a calm but fun play time.

Thursday: Send Tots 10-11:30am £2.50

Each week we hold a lovely SEND Tots group for children aged 0-5 with special educational needs and disabilities. You can join us even if you are yet to receive an official diagnosis and siblings under 5 years are more than welcome too. There will be toys and play mats, and a hot drink for adults.
