It's less than one month to go until the 16 Days of Action Devon begins and we come together with organisations across Devon to raise awareness in combatting violence against women and girls.

Domestic abuse doesn't always look like what we see on screen.

It can be happening to someone you sit next to at the hairdresser's, wave to over the fence, or have Sunday dinner with. It affects people of every gender, every age, background and income, in towns, villages and farms right across Devon.

When we picture abuse one way, it's easier to miss and harder for people to recognise in their own lives.

If any of this feels familiar, you can talk to us. Confidentially and at your own pace.

We are delighted to announce that Hannah, our CEO, is in the semi-final for the Combating Violence Against Women and Girls award as part of the West Country Women Awards 2026.

This fantastic award recognises and celebrates those working tirelessly to support and protect women and girls, and anyone who works with Hannah knows how dedicated she is to this cause.

This is well deserved recognition of the leadership that Hannah brings to NDADA and the work she has done over the last 3 years as CEO.

She is supported by great teams within NDADA, and the work she and the teams do each day makes a real difference.
