Blow the Whistle invites everyone who cares about sport to take shared responsibility for challenging abuse.
Domestic abuse and sexual violence remain widespread, yet are often hidden, minimised or misunderstood. Harmful behaviours, including emotional abuse, coercive control and intimidation, are too often normalised, and many people who notice warning signs donโt feel confident to speak out.
๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐๐๐น๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐:
โข Noticing when something isnโt right
โข Calling out abusive behaviour safely
โข Checking in and showing care
โข Making support visible and accessible
Itโs fantastic to see so many organisations already standing with us.
A huge thank you to: Devon & Cornwall Police, Blaby District, Ahimsa, The WISH Centre, Plymouth Marjon University, The Integrated Domestic Abuse Service Plymouth, Man Culture, Plymouth Community Homes, Safe Spaces England & Wales, Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance, Devon County Council, Cornwall Council, Safer Cornwall, and all those supporting the campaign internally.
Your support sends a clear message:
