Could you be a piece of our Trustee Jigsaw?
Over the coming weeks, we're opening the door to new people who would like to help shape the future of H.O.P.E in Community.
Piece 1: Ensure the charity carries out its purposes for the public benefit.
For H.O.P.E, this means keeping the people and communities we support at the heart of our decisions. Trustees help us ask: Are we doing what H.O.P.E was created to do? Are our services making a difference? What does our community need next?
You don't need to have been a trustee before. Your experience, ideas, knowledge of the community and willingness to ask questions could be exactly what our board needs.
Applicants must be aged 16+. Our AGM takes place on 13 November 2026, during Trustees' Week.
Could you bring a new piece to our Trustee Jigsaw?

🎉 H.O.P.E in the Community is 9! 🎉

Last Thursday we celebrated 9 years of Hope in the Community! 💚

Over the past nine years, H.O.P.E has been a place where people have come together, made friends, learned new things, supported one another and created some pretty special memories. 🥰

And now we want to hear from YOU!

💭 What’s your favorite H.O.P.E memory?
📸 Do you have an old photo from your time with us?
🙋‍♀️ Have you volunteered, attended a group, taken part in an event or activity, or been involved with H.O.P.E in another way?
❤️ Is there a particular person, moment or experience that has stayed with you?

We’d love you to share your memories in the comments below — and feel free to tag anyone who has been part of the Hope journey over the years!

Let’s take a little trip down memory lane and celebrate everything that makes Hope in the Community so special. 🌈💚

And a special shout-out to Peter David Robertshaw-Corbett, who has spent the last 9 years keeping H.O.P.E going, bringing people together… and probably wondering what he let himself in for! 😂🤍

Here’s to 9 years of H.O.P.E— and many more memories to come! 🎂🎈
