The last few days have been extremely emotional as yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of Honeys death, we will tell Raven Bee all about Honey and how much she would have loved her

In a few weeks I’ll pick up on admin again and get more journals out :)

base71youthzone and barnsley_hospice got a huge delivery of journals a couple of weeks ago 🖤

We have a lot of paperback journals ready for their new homes

The original journals aimed at 11+ come in a box of 16 and have 16 pens.

The primary journals aimed at under 11s come in a box of 20 and have 20 pens.

If you feel like your school/organisation would benefit from our journals, please send us a message and we will arrange a collection time.

If you need more than what one box holds, please ask and we will see what we can do.

Again, these boxes are FREE to registered organisations and schools in BARNSLEY but we always welcome fundraising donations, to keep these journals free 🖤

We need your organisations name/address, your role and an email please

As many of you know, I’m not very well mentally, baby is doing absolutely fine and I’m 21 weeks! But my head is a mess, a lot of emotions 🖤

Therefore if you would like a box, please make sure you collect at the allotted times when I have my husband with me 🖤

Some signs of poor mental health in children are

Hi, Gemma here 🖤

Thank you to everyone who supported our festival, I absolutely loved it and it was so nice to see so many happy faces!

Organising the festival has really taken its toll on me, as well as countless hours on the charity, 2 children, a husband, a house and 2 naughty dogs… it’s a lot to handle while grieving.

I am also carrying another baby 🖤

Stress and hormones have pushed my mental health back years and I am really struggling.
For my baby’s safety I need to take a step back for a while.
Journals will still be ordered and distributed, but I won’t be available for workshops and school sessions.

We aren’t going anywhere, just relaxing a bit

Good morning!

We hope you’re all recovering well from Saturday. I know the team are still 🐝🐝🐝 “buzzing”! 🐝🐝🐝

Today, we would like to give an individual shoutout to KAEFER UK & Ireland. Their support for the event came in the form of some lovely welfare kits for our team of volunteers and organisers. Lots of treats, with some essentials for the day. Here’s our youngest team member sporting his!

💛🐝💛 That’s a wrap 💛🐝💛

Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported us yesterday
We had such a fantastic day and hope you all did too!
We have just got the figures in and I’ll explain our thoughts going forward…

The festival is about bringing our community together and raising awareness of youth su***de and bullying. It’s also, selfishly, a day for me to hear people say my daughter’s name, to remember her and the others we have lost so cruelly.

We have had 2 successful events now and thousands of people have had amazing days and made lovely memories.

When thinking about doing another, of course we would love to, but we need to be realistic.

We had amazing companies sponsor us, donate cones, refrigerated van, fencing, drinks… and we paid for the rest.
It cost us almost £17,000 for music, insurance, ambulance, stage etc etc
After receiving just over £19,000 in ticket sales, raffle sales, sponsorships, merch etc, we have a profit of £2,433.76💛

Thousands of unpaid hours, sleepless nights and stress and yes it was worth it but in order to keep ticket prices the same as this year, to put on a fantastic show and make sure everyone is safe, can we please ask that you donate a few quid? And share this post so your friends who came also donate a few quid?
Keep the prices down and the atmosphere up 💛

What a day

We’re all so grateful for every single guest, volunteer, stall holder and everyone else who made today possible.

Thank you.

We’re all going to have some time now to wind down from months of preparation and a very busy day! Please can I ask all raffle entrants to check their emails as we have a lot of prizes unclaimed. Please email [email protected] to sort out collection.
