Calling all bookworms! 📚🐛

Young people can now choose a book from our library, take it home and enjoy it for up to a month, for free!

Want to help our shelves grow? We’d love donations of good-quality, age-appropriate books your family has finished with. Just bring them to reception. 💙

On Wednesday evening we welcomed guests for a conversation about how local investment can create skills, confidence and opportunities for Barnsley’s young people.

In the weeks leading up to the event, our young people got involved too, creating models of the buildings they would love to see around Barnsley. Swipe through to spot one of their brilliant designs! 🏗️🎨

A huge thank you to Nathan Spencer, our panel Matt O’Neill, Mandy Carlson, Andrew McNaghten and Dave Helmetag Coles, and to John Sanderson for bringing the conversation back to why it matters.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared ideas about building Barnsley’s future together! 🙌
