We are delighted to be part of Heritage Open Days 2026, the nationwide festival celebrating local history, heritage, and community.

🚂 Enjoy a train ride along the scenic banks of the River Sowe and around the picturesque lawns of Russells Garden Centre

🔎Visitors can discover more about everyday roles that make the railway work. From drivers and guards to the behind the scenes maintenance carried out by today’s volunteers, continuing traditions that span decades

This is a fantastic opportunity for families, railway enthusiasts, and anyone who loves local history to experience something unique, fun, and educational.
