Bridge Cottage is located further down Stivichall Croft on the other side of the road prior to the coat of Arms Bridge.
The Bridge Cottage is a Grade 2 Listed building C 1700. It had originally a duck pond and small bridge. A pond in the rear garden feeding into the Sheep dip stream.
The ponds with ducks were evident in the 1960’s.
Timber frame, colour washed brick nogging, old, tiled roof. 1 storey and attics, 2 casement windows flush set, 2 casement gabled half dormers with glazing bars. 2 storey C19 wing has cut bracketed gabled doorhood, casement window under cambered arch. Again, some windows have been bricked up possibly to provide more wall facility rather tax avoidance the window tax.
