💜 Our Ambleside Dementia Group 💜
Living with dementia, or caring for someone with dementia, can sometimes feel like a lonely journey. You don’t have to do it alone.
Our dementia group in Ambleside is a welcoming space for people living with dementia and their carers to connect, socialise, access specialist support and enjoy meaningful activities together.
🌿 Specialist dementia support
Our dementia specialist nurses are there to support you at any point in your journey, offering tailored advice, guidance and support based on your individual needs.
🎶 Two hours of meaningful activity and connection
Our experienced Activity Coordinator Team provides a range of evidence-based dementia therapies and activities designed to promote wellbeing, build connection, support confidence and help maintain skills and independence.
And you don’t have to live in Ambleside to join us!
📍 If you live in Grasmere, Coniston, Hawkshead or the surrounding areas, you are very welcome. We may also be able to help with transport to and from the group.

We were honoured to welcome the new Mr and Mrs Rolly to APC for their wedding celebrations in July. It certainly looks like they had a wonderful time!

𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 & 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 - Mandy Dorman Artist craft fair and APC Cafe TODAY!!!

🧵🧶🖼️🧸🎁Come along and take a look at the wonderful stall holders work. The perfect place to treat your self or pick up a one off gift.

🥓🍳🍰🧁☕️🫖The APC wonderful volunteers will be running a cafe alongside the craft fair serving homemade cakes, soup, bacon and egg rolls, hot and cold drinks. All proceeds from the cafe goes towards the running of the Centre and it's community groups. Hope to see you there!!
