Welcome to day 1 of !

Our natural world is full of surprises. Wildlife to spot, friends to be made, inspiration to be had.

Why not explore somewhere new in our Valley this week and see how our natural spaces impact our daily lives?

Welcome to the beautiful Blackwater Valley, bordering Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. It runs over 35 km from the river’s source at Rowhill near Aldershot, northwards to Swallowfield.

🌿🦆 The Great Big Green Week is starting soon! 🪲🌱

As part of this event, we’re encouraging everyone to take an independent wildlife walk around Brickfields Nature Reserve (6th–13th June) to see what you can find.

You might be surprised what’s hiding there 👀 — you may even spot something not previously recorded on our website 🪲

📸 Why not take photos of your finds and share them in the comments?
🌱 Or search for 'Brickfields Country Park' in the iNaturalist app and log finds there

We can’t wait to see what you discover 💚
