A group of our volunteers are taking part in the Beacon of Peace walk on 21st June.

For over four decades, Beacon of Peace has relieved suffering and served humanity regardless of race, religion, or background. Through fundraising, it has raised millions of pounds for British charities. By bringing people together to help others, it promotes peace, understanding, and goodwill.

This is a Walk for Peace – Bringing diverse communities together to promote peace, unity, and charity. It is A fun-filled day for family and friends, including a fun fair.

We are just over 50% towards our target or raising £1000 so if you would like to contribute 100% of our sponsorship goes back into our CGH Community, please check out our just giving page below!

🇬🇧We are delighted to invite you to book your free tickets now for our Armed Forces Day National Event weekend on Saturday 27 June and Sunday 28 June.🇬🇧

This prestigious national event will bring the communities of Aldershot and Farnborough together with the military community in celebration and appreciation, through fantastic free activities, sports and entertainment. It is a chance for us all to thank our Armed Forces for the vital role they play in protecting the nation.

A full line up will be announced soon, with the Armed Forces Day National Event on Saturday 27 June featuring a military parade, Arena displays, music and entertainment, and a Community Day on Sunday 28 June, featuring activities, entertainment, sporting trials and live music.

Service personnel from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army, and Royal Air Force will be showcasing the diverse mix of roles in the Armed Forces, demonstrating equipment, and highlighting their contribution to national security. Visitors will be able to meet serving personnel, reservists, veterans, cadets, and military families during the weekend, which will include live military bands, parades and flypasts.

The programme of activities will also look to the future by inspiring young people through displays, activities, sports, and family events.
