We are keeping a close eye on government and World Health Organisation recommendations and with any action we take we are aiming to strike a balance of sensible precautions to support ourselves and our community. Last thing we want is anyone transmitting COVID-19 via meetings at the Scout Hut.

This is a serious global situation and we all have a responsibility. Although many of us individually in the Scout Group may be considered 'low-moderate' risk - we may have attendees with underlying health conditions and must look after each other.

Unless you hear otherwise, meetings will continue to go ahead as usual.

This does come with the following requests:

-Please do not come or send your child if you / they feel unwell.
-Please do not come or send your child if you should be self-isolating having visited one of the Category 1 countries or having become ill having visited one of the Category 2 countries all listed below or having had contact with anyone with the illness.

-If you or your child attend the Scout Hut and within a fortnight come down with coronavirus, or find out you have been previously in contact with someone who later developed it, please let us know as we will need to share this with other attendees who have used the venue.
-We will not be shaking hands for the time being.
-And of course, let us all practice good hand hygiene as the best way to stop the spread and transmission of any virus.
