A Calendar of Carols would make a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone who loves carols and the stories about and behind them. Gordon Giles ahs spoiled us really, it's such a lovely read, full of knowledge and humour, gentle and thoughtful, and with beautifully written prayers. Go on, treat yourself!
