Anna Chaplaincy – annachaplaincy.org.uk
Our network of Anna Chaplains offers spiritual care in later life, in a wide range of contexts. We accompany older people in reflecti

ng on their life and their relationship with God, breaking down generational barriers and offering friendship and community. Because we believe we’re never too old to embrace faith and enrich our lives. Living Faith – www.brf.org.uk/living-faith
We’ve been resourcing people’s spiritual journeys for over 100 years, providing comfort in hard times, enrichment in good times and challenge and inspiration at any time. Through books, Bible reading notes, events and blogs, we’re constantly exploring faith in new ways, because with the right support, anyone and everyone can build a lifelong relationship with God. Messy Church – messychurch.org.uk
It’s church, but not as you know it. Every month thousands of people of all ages come together to discover Jesus, including those who’ve never been to church before. In over 30 countries around the world, we eat, play and worship together. Expect activities, songs and prayers and an entirely new way to express your faith. Parenting for Faith – parentingforfaith.org.uk
In a busy world, we’re equipping parents, carers and communities with the skills they need to help their children and teenagers to meet and know God. We offer courses, resources, events and training to support spiritual parenting, and make a lasting difference to young lives. BRF Ministries – inspiring people of all ages to grow in Christian faith.

Dive into Divine Windows – where science and faith meet. Looking through a fresh lens of wonder, play and order, scientist and minister David Gregory invites you to see something of God’s creative hand on the world around us revealed by the creativity of science. Through reflective commentary and an inspiring series of nature and science imagery like those seen in popular documentaries, the shaping of creation by a higher purpose is revealed in the vision of the universe unveiled by science.

Solomon wrote this proverb to his son, passing down wisdom for a life that wouldn't always be clear. He knew uncertainty wasn't something you avoid. It's something you walk through.

Notice what this verse doesn't say. It doesn't say understand first, then trust. It says trust with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

That's hard. Our instinct is to figure things out before we hand them over. But this proverb asks for the opposite order. Trust first. Let God do the straightening.

You're not meant to see the whole road. You're meant to trust the one walking it with you.

Deep inner peace and peace of mind with spiritual balance is something everyone wants, but how does one attain it? More importantly, how does one maintain it in the midst of everyday life? Moving through sections on Stillness, Silence, Solitude and Sanctuary, this book draws on the lived experience and learning of the author, as well as the wisdom of Christian contemplatives and mystics from the past, to help people walk the mystic path of peace through life.

We often expect God to show up loud. In the big moment, the clear answer, the dramatic breakthrough.

But most of the time he meets us in the quiet. In the ordinary. In the parts of the day we're moving too fast to notice.

Attentive to God by Tony Horsfall explores six Bible stories that describe individuals encountering God, showing how we can learn how to notice the presence of the divine for ourselves.

Mindfulness is not new, and God’s people down the centuries have always been encouraged to practise ‘the sacrament of the present moment’ – that is, to notice God in the events of everyday life and become attentive to that presence. Tony Horsfall explores six Bible stories that describe individuals encountering God, showing how we can learn how to notice the presence of the divine for ourselves. He also unpacks key spiritual practices that anyone can follow, and introduces insights from influential writers on the awareness of God in the ordinary.

The 2026 BRF Advent Book is now available for purchase. We realise that the current heat wave doesn’t particularly remind us of Advent but we do know that some of our readers and church leaders like to plan ahead.

For some, Christmas is a magical time. For others, it can be painful, and the usual tinselled tellings of the Christmas story feel unbearably saccharine. Yet in that first Christmas, all of life is there – disgrace and honour, danger and protection, uncertainty and hope, temptation and tyranny, sorrow and celebration. With thoughtful research, pastoral insight, and honest stories, Treasures in Straw explores the themes of loss and blessing throughout the nativity. Against a darker backdrop, we see with greater clarity God's unexpected generosity and our unshakeable blessings. However you feel about Christmas, this book will leave you with fresh hope, deeper understanding, and genuine joy in living with Christ.
