We offer swimming lessons and public sessions at 5 pools across the city!

We are committed to providing quality swimming tuition for all ages, from birth to adults, in our highly acclaimed learn to swim programme. The backbone of the Learn to Swim Programme is the structured progression that is possible for every child. This leads every swimmer from the basic skills of water familiarisation, orientation and propulsion all the way through to water competence, specialisation and technical efficiency. This competence will ensure that one can take part in many water based activities in the future.

The pool at Cults Academy will remain closed up to and including Friday 30th October. The rest of the venue (halls/gym/studio) will be open as normal.

Conor was nominated by his swimming teacher, Drew, who said…

“Conor has shown incredible diligence and perseverance over the past couple of months in his attempt to pass Swim Skills 2A, which he has now achieved! Although he struggled with parts of a stroke, he practised independently and continually looked for feedback to improve. He always came to class with a cheery, positive attitude and was a delight to teach. We’ll all miss him!”

Conor’s commitment and perseverance make him a great role model for his peers, and we’re incredibly proud of everything he’s achieved.

Aqua Natal Classes 🌊 🤰

Spaces are still available in our Wednesday Aqua Natal classes at Get active @ Northfield.

Aqua Natal is a 45 minutes gentle pool-based exercise class for pregnant individuals. Using the water’s buoyancy to ease pressure on joints and the lower back while providing gentle resistance.

“Christopher has shown fantastic perseverance and determination. Although he can find new challenges daunting, he always gives everything a go and never lets it stop him from trying. He communicates well when he needs help, showing a real willingness to learn and improve. Since joining the class, he has grown in confidence and returns each week ready to challenge himself.
