We offer swimming lessons and public sessions at 5 pools across the city!

We are committed to providing quality swimming tuition for all ages, from birth to adults, in our highly acclaimed learn to swim programme. The backbone of the Learn to Swim Programme is the structured progression that is possible for every child. This leads every swimmer from the basic skills of water familiarisation, orientation and propulsion all the way through to water competence, specialisat

ion and technical efficiency. This competence will ensure that one can take part in many water based activities in the future.

Drowning Prevention Week 🌊

Did you know your swimming costume colour could help save precious seconds in an emergency?

When choosing swimwear, opt for bright, high-visibility colours that stand out against the water.

Neon pink, orange, yellow and green are easier to spot in both pools and open water, helping parents, lifeguards and others quickly locate a child if they get into difficulty or slip beneath the surface.

White, light blue and grey can blend into the water, making it much harder to see a child quickly when every second counts.

A simple choice could make a big difference. 🩷🧡💛

Week 1 and 2
📍 Bucksburn Swimming Pool (SSTQ)
📅 Week 1: 6th July - 10th July / Week 2: 13th July - 17th July
🕑 School age: 9.30am - 10.15am, 10:15am - 11am, 11am - 11.45am
💷 £6.00 per session (£30.00 - These sessions will be in-part delivered by trainee teachers, supervised by experienced teachers and a Scottish Swimming tutor. To participate full consent must be given for filming for training purposes only. This will only be viewed by the trainee, tutor, and Scottish Swimming as evidence on ability of the trainee teacher.)

Week 4

📅 27th July - 31st July
🕑 School age: 9.30am - 10.15am, 10:15am - 11am, 11am - 11.45am, Adult beginner: 11.45am - 12.30pm
💷 School age £8.80 per session (£44.00) and Adult beginner (16+) £10.50 per session (£52.50)

⚠️Tullos Swimming Pool Update⚠️

Unfortunately, due to an incident in the pool yesterday both Tullos pools will be closed today to allow cleaning to take place.

Both pools will reopen on Wednesday as normal.

“Rory has consistently been an outstanding swimmer with excellent listening skills and a very positive attitude. He is always polite, engaging, and takes time to check in with his teacher, which shows great character. He has made excellent progress and was recently moved up to Club Ready, very well deserved! He has been a pleasure to teach and will be missed by the group, as he was popular with both staff and swimmers. Well done, Rory!”
