We've all said it. "I could do with a duvet day." Not because we're ill. Because we're tired.
Life is busy. Work is demanding. Family life is full-on. Sometimes, all we really crave is a little time to slow down. A duvet day has become shorthand for something we all need from time to time.
Rest. Comfort. The chance to switch off.
But for too many children across our community, comfort isn't a feeling. It's something they're missing.
A bed. A warm duvet. Fresh bedding. Somewhere safe to sleep.
That's why we're launching Duvet Day as part of our Sweet Dreams campaign.
We're inviting businesses across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to create their own version of a duvet day. Some of our supporters are raffling an extra day's annual leave. Others are donating hotel stays, spa experiences, luxury bedding and little escapes. Every workplace is making it their own, and we'd love yours to be part of it too.
It really couldn't be simpler.

On 2nd October, we'll celebrate every business taking part and reveal the total raised. Together, we'll help ensure more local children have the comfort of a warm bed, cosy bedding and somewhere safe to sleep before the darker nights roll in - so bedtime can be about cuddling up under a duvet, sharing a bedtime story and drifting off to sweet dreams.
