For many children in Ukraine, “normal” childhood today means nights in bomb shelters, online classes from basements, constant air raid alerts, displacement, and ongoing stress.

On International Children’s Day, join our online discussion on children’s rights during war.

841 political prisoners.
Behind every number is a name.
Behind every name is a story of resistance, courage, and unjust imprisonment.

The Belarusian regime continues to silence people for speaking out, helping others, demanding freedom, or simply refusing to stay silent.

We stand in solidarity with Belarusian political prisoners until every single person is free.

Freedom for all Belarusian political prisoners. ✊

Ukraine may no longer be at the top of the news every day — but for people living through Russia’s war, there is no pause.

In the fourth year of the full-scale invasion, civilians continue to face daily attacks, occupation, displacement and loss. And Europe must not look away.

Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, our colleague Ira Ganzhorn , Humanitarian Aid Officer at Libereco, will speak at two panel discussions hosted by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Bavaria.

Together with other speakers, she will discuss what life and survival in Ukraine look like today, the situation in the occupied territories, and what Germany and the EU can do to stand with Ukraine.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing cucumbers, radishes and flowers grow again on land scarred by mines and missiles. Where military vehicles stood only recently, women from de-occupied villages in the Kharkiv region are returning to their greenhouses and fields, reclaiming their right to live and work in safety.

Together with the “Deoccupation Shop” project, they are rebuilding their farms and selling fresh produce in Kharkiv, feeding their families and helping entire communities get back on their feet.

In April, women farmers from the liberated areas of Kharkiv received fertiliser and materials for new greenhouses thanks to your donations.

Call for Illustrations: Ukraine’s Regions Through Your Eyes 🇺🇦

After the success of our 2026 Ukraine Solidarity Calendar, we are creating LIBERECO’s 2027 Ukraine Calendar – together with you.

24 oblasts, 24 personal perspectives. Each region of Ukraine has its own landscapes, stories and memories. Show us your Ukraine – from Chernivtsi courtyards to the steppes of Kherson, the fields of Poltava or the mountains of Zakarpattia.

We are looking for illustrations (including digital art and collages) dedicated to any Ukrainian oblast you personally feel connected to. Ukrainian artists of all ages and career stages are welcome. We encourage artists from previous calls to submit their work.

To apply, choose one or more regions and send us a link to your portfolio (Instagram, website, Behance, ArtStation, etc.). No finished artwork is needed yet – selection is based on portfolios.

By 30 May 2026, we will select 12 artists and invite them to create one illustration each. The fee is 200 EUR (incl. VAT) per completed illustration. Selected works will be published in our 2027 calendar and possibly in other products in the LIBERECO shop, with all proceeds supporting humanitarian action for Ukraine.

We look forward to seeing your art!
