As Chinese Village 2026 comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who helped make this weekend so special.

Thank you to our volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to welcoming guests, serving food, supporting performances, and ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the weekend.

A special thank you to our kitchen crew. This year, our menu was prepared in-house, and we were incredibly grateful for the positive feedback we received. One of the highlights of the weekend was seeing familiar faces return, often bringing family and friends back to enjoy their favourite dishes.

Thank you to all of our performers. Behind every dance, song, martial arts demonstration, and cultural presentation are many hours of practice and preparation. Your passion and dedication helped bring Chinese culture to life for our visitors.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came through our doors this weekend. Whether you came for the food, performances, culture, or community, your support means the world to us.

We are also grateful to Carrousel of the Nations Carousel of the Nations for providing an opportunity for communities across Windsor-Essex to share their cultures and traditions. We are proud to be part of a celebration that brings people together through understanding, appreciation, and connection.

Carousel of the Nations 2026

When Graeme Wachna and his friends volunteered to help open the Chinese Village, we don’t think this was what he had in mind.

One of the best things about Carousel of the Nations is that you never know what experience you’ll walk into. Sometimes you come for the food. Sometimes you stay for the culture. And sometimes you end up leading a dragon dance parade.

Today is the LAST DAY of Chinese Village!

The ECCCA team has been working hard behind the scenes preparing delicious food for everyone at the Chinese Village.

One of the highlights today came from a returning visitor who stopped by our booth and enjoyed our Chicken Dumplings so much that they came back and purchased two more boxes!

Moments like these mean so much to our volunteers and team members. Thank you to everyone who has visited, supported, and shared in the experience with us.
