Dedicated to the development and promotion of hunters & jumpers on southern Vancouver Island 🐴💫

Please note, Vancouver Island Hunter Jumper and Horse Council memberships are required by all owners and riders before participating in any Vancouver Island Hunter Jumper Association horse show. Membership entitles horses and riders to compete in a series of hunter/jumper horse show educating and encouraging them to improve their skills while promoting fair competition and sportsmanship. Educational opportunities through clinics and lectures are also available to members wishing to participate.

The courses and show don’t build themselves.

Before the first horse enters the ring and after the last ribbon is handed out, it takes a team of volunteers to make the VIHJA Benefit Show happen.

We’re looking for helping hands for:

📍 Setup Day — Tuesday, July 28
📍 Takedown Day — Sunday after the show

Whether you can spare a few hours or stay for the day, we’d love your help.

✔ Volunteer hours available for students
✔ Meet fellow horse people
✔ Support Vancouver Island horse sport
✔ Give back to a show that gives so much to our community
