🎄❤️ Small Town. Big Hearts. A Little Christmas Magic. We Need YOU!

There's something truly special about Christmas in a little town like Saanichton.

It's the familiar faces, the neighbours greeting each other by name, the children bursting with excitement to see Santa, and the simple joy of a community coming together. These are the moments that make our little village feel like home.

For 22 years, Saanichton Community Christmas has been bringing families, friends and neighbours together to celebrate the magic of the season. It's one of those beautiful small-town traditions that we hope our children will grow up remembering and one day bring their own children to enjoy.

But here's something you might not know…

Behind all those smiles, twinkling lights, horse-drawn carriage rides, Santa visits and cups of hot chocolate is a very small group of volunteers working incredibly hard to make it all happen.

The Saanichton Village Association is a small but mighty team of people who love this community!

Imagine being part of the reason a little one goes home with the biggest smile, a family makes a cherished Christmas memory , or a neighbour feels that wonderful sense of belonging.

WE NEED SOME EXTRA HELPING HANDS!

Whether you can help serve pancakes, pour hot chocolate, greet families, hand out maps, help with activities, decorate or lend a hand with setup and cleanup, there's a place for you!

⏰ Even just TWO HOURS of your time can make a world of difference.

No experience needed. No special skills required. Just a kind heart, a little Christmas spirit and a willingness to help.

Bring a friend, your spouse, your teenager or a neighbour. Make volunteering part of your own Christmas tradition!

❤️ And there's even more meaning behind this special day. Our event also supports the Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation, helping us give back to the healthcare services that care for our community and I'm sure we've all been there or have had a loved one there.

Our little town may be small, but the heart of this community is HUGE. Because the magic of Christmas in Saanichton doesn't just happen. It's made by people like YOU.❤️

The Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation online silent auction is happening and Coffee for One year is an amazing prize !!!☕️

Fresh Cup is proud to support the Saanich Peninsula Hospital & Healthcare Foundation with their upcoming silent auction and Gala event at the Mary Winspear Center.

Our hospital needs our support and provides an amazing service to residents and their ongoing health.

CALLING ALL LOCAL MUSICIANS, CHOIRS & MUSICAL GROUPS! 🎶

The Saanichton Village Association is looking for local talent to help us fill the village with festive music at our annual Christmas in the Village celebration! 🎅✨

📅 Saturday, December 5, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Shoppers Drug Mart Parking Lot – Saanichton Village

🎤 WE WANT YOU TO PERFORM! 🎵

We're inviting school choirs, bands, music classes, local musicians, community choirs and musical groups of ALL ages and abilities to join us for a fun, festive day!

Whether you love Christmas carols, winter favourites, holiday classics or other seasonal music, we'd love to hear you!

🎶 Performance times are flexible, anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes!

We'll have a stage set up, and if the weather isn't cooperating, we plan to enclose most of the stage with plastic and provide a heater to help keep our performers comfortable.

Our hope is to have live music throughout the day for families, friends and visitors to enjoy while celebrating the holiday season in Saanichton Village! ❤️

If you have littles in your household or family, and you like to in the daylight, we’ll have the front porch of the open from 4-5pm on Hallowe’en afternoon.

Modeled after Treat Accessibly, we offer accessibility, no jump scares, and non-edible treats.
