Darwyn passed away 2 years ago today. We invite everyone to remember him with small acts of kindness and love in their everyday lives.

Many children and families suffer tremendously because of BC's poor child palliative care system. Among them is Owen, who is supposed to receive 56 hours of respite palliative care a week, but has only received 4 hours a week. This is unacceptable. This system must be reviewed, fixed, and the suffering end.

Have spare bottles and cans lying around?

Come down to the Victor school parking lot from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm on the 14th of May to drop off your bottle and cans for Darwyn’s bottle drive! All proceeds will be contributed to the Darwyn Danesh Memorial Fund, which is hosted at the Victoria Foundation.

Thank you very much to each and every one of you who has signed the petition. Over 1000 people have now signed. This is an important step towards a review of the child palliative care system, and ensuring children receive the care and comfort they require.

There is still work ahead to fix this part of the health care system. We continue to appreciate all of your support including sharing this petition. Your voices are making a difference.

Soon we will be providing updates on responses from public agencies to this call for a review of child palliative care, and what our next steps may be.
