“Just one broken heart trying to help other broken hearts”

On behalf of The Kayde Foundation, our Founder + Coordinator, Alexa Conlon met with Ashley to accept a generous donation from the Joy Family Memorial Golf Tournament. Alexa would like to extend a gracious thank you to not only those who attended the golf tournament and donated but also to Adley’s Mom, Sandy, for bringing fourth our name to be chosen as a recipient of these funds.

The funds raised will go directly to expanding our support through our Bereavement/Memento Box Initiative.

“Although I recognize there is always room for growth, we spent a year perfecting the current version of our boxes. At the end of the day, it will never feel like enough as we are unable to perform a miracle by bringing our loss families babies back, but our hope is that by meeting another mom who truly gets it and having something physical to support you through the hard days, it makes carrying this grief a bit more manageable knowing they aren’t carrying it alone and someone thought of them while putting together this keepsake” - Alexa
