We are incredibly honoured to Welcome one of our very own mama’s to our Board of Directors ❤️🩹
“Chloe Edgar is a mother of two living children, former acute care nurse, and currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. Since 2020, she has experienced fertility treatments, recurrent pregnancy loss, ectopic pregnancies and the stillbirth of her daughter, Iris on April 30,2024 at 23 weeks gestation. Through these experiences Chloe has faced the overwhelming realities of grief, trauma, and trying to navigate life after loss while the world around you continues moving forward.
Through her own experiences, Chloe has learned firsthand just how isolating pregnancy loss can be, especially within rural communities where support and resources often feel limited or difficult to access. Attending Kayde Foundation support groups showed her the importance of having spaces where people genuinely understand this kind of grief.
With the support of Alexa and the Kayde Foundation community, Chloe has become more open about sharing her own story and experiences. Those experiences helped shape her passion for honest and open conversations around loss, motherhood after grief, and helping others feel less alone in the hardest moments of their lives. She believes there is power in speaking openly about the parts of loss people are often too uncomfortable to acknowledge out loud.
Through The Kayde Foundation, Chloe is committed to helping bring support, connection, and resources to families, because every baby, every story, and every experience of grief deserve to be acknowledged.“
