Friday we enjoyed a carnival right at the lodge! Thank you to all volunteers who helped out as well as all the staff for putting this on. It was such a great turn out and the weather was perfect. A wonderful way to end the week 🎟️🎈

This month we're shining the spotlight on Nicole, one of our amazing Health Care Aides! Nicole is always so kind, caring, and patient with our residents, and it never goes unnoticed. She truly enjoys making a difference in people's lives and helping them feel respected and cared for. We're so lucky to have Nicole on our team, and we're excited to celebrate her this month. We've been busy! Check out what we have been up to.
Our resident-run sewing room recently completed a beautiful quilt to donate to our regular visitors at Brighter Beginnings. We recently spent time painting rocks for the gardens, playing balloon swat, and decorating our parade float.

A huge thank you to our talented resident, Ruby, who painted all of the animals for this year's float. They turned out absolutely perfect!

We hope you spotted us in the parade! We had our management team out there throwing candy & waving hello. Some residents were able to come out and watch the parade thank you to the people movers for volunteering your time to come get us & find a shady spot! A big thank you to MSCnet & Vermilion Agricultural Society for live streaming the parade. We had over 50 residents watching from the lodge! With this heat today, residents were happy to watch the parade right at home.
