The Goodlife Institute brings people together through vibrant events and shared experiences that celebrate everything Vermilion has to offer.

From showcasing local businesses to creating unforgettable moments, we connect community and visitors alike, turn The Good Life Institute was founded in spring, 2012 with the goal of creating new hands-on events in Vermilion and to assist in promoting the wide range of activities taking place in our community. Since then we have organized the Vermilion Winter Fair and Vermilion Fire Festival, several series of classes and special feature events.

🌿 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: MAKING MAMMOTH TRACKS MOBILE CRAFT STUDIO 🌿

This is one booth you’re going to want to slow down and explore at Art in the Park!

Meet Christie, the artist and maker behind Making Mammoth Tracks Mobile Craft Studio. Living and travelling in an RV, Christie creates whimsical, nature-inspired art using real botanicals and hand-gathered materials collected from across Western Canada. 🏔️🌸

With a 20-year background in science and a love of plants, she combines art, nature and discovery to create pieces that each carry a little story of where they came from.

At her booth you’ll find:

🐚 Oyster shell dishes, ornaments & magnets featuring real pressed botanicals
🌸 Handcrafted wooden flower presses decorated with pressed flowers
🌿 Pressed flower keychains
🖼️ Mini botanical artworks featuring plants collected from forests, mountains, grasslands, coastlines and parks across Canada

And everything is handmade by Christie in small batches, making each piece truly unique.

We have a Layered Wood Sign Making Class with Sarah Hinton happening at Art in the Park on Saturday, September 12, and there are still spots available!

For $50, you’ll create your own layered wood sign to take home, with 50+ designs to choose from. Seasonal, farmhouse, home décor, holiday and more. All supplies are included, so you just need to show up and create!
