I think most Vermilion Nordic members, past and present, would be able to share special memories of time spent in the CN Station. This building is closely tied to our club, and has allowed us to host many club events, potlucks, recreational loppets, and higher level races. Most important, the CN Station has provided generations of children with a place to warm up and enjoy some social time, along with hot chocolate and snacks, after their Jackrabbit lessons. We can't wait to get back into this space again!

Efforts have begun to restore the CN Station, so that skiers and all community members can enjoy this iconic and historical Vermilion landmark.

Jan Scott, Todd Ree and Sandra Kathnelson presented the history of the CN Station to our club. The Vermilion Nordic Ski Club are inviting the community to help support the efforts to rejuvenate and repair the building! This amazing part of Vermilion has been around since 1905!!

We have heard from a member who skied around the campground trail yesterday and found it quite good. If you have a chance to get out there before it melts, you might get to enjoy a rare mid-April ski!

The Vermilion trails are not fresh set, but skied on. They are half decent for skiing still.
