Farmhouse Garden Animal Home What was once a cattle ranch is now an animal sanctuary. Farmhouse Garden Animal Home is located in Uxbridge, Ontario, about an hour from Toronto.

Multi-generational organic farmer and cattle rancher Mike Lanigan was taking care of the cows one day and had a change of heart: he no longer wanted to send them off to slaughter. He then allowed his employee, Edith, to take over and convert this cattle farm into a safe haven for the animals within it. With the manure of these cows, he fertilizes his 40 acre farm full of certified organic, yummy v

Happy Pride from everyone here at the sanctuary. We tried to line the cows up for a big Pride parade, but Wayne was the only one who cooperated. 😂 Our sanctuary is a safe space for everyone, human and animal. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
