Fetch + Releash

Fetch + Releash is a not-for-profit organization that assists in the rescuing and re-homing of dogs. WE RESCUE AND REHOME!

Fetch + Releash is a volunteer run dog rescue dedicated to saving dogs in need. Our foster dogs come from a variety of different backgrounds such as shelters, strays and surrendered pets, both locally and abroad. Through our network of volunteers, foster homes, trainers and veterinarians, we strive to give every dog the loving forever family they deserve. As a foster-based rescue, our dogs live in private homes across the Greater Toronto Area where they receive the love and attention they need to ready them for adoption. 🐶Help us name our 9 newest puppies! Puppy naming fundraiser! 🐶

Our newest little arrivals need names — and we’re putting the decision in YOUR hands! ❤️

For a $5 donation per name, you can submit a name for one, a few or all 9 puppies. Each puppy is wearing a coloured collar, and their name needs to start with the corresponding letter:

💙 Navy — Male name starting with N
🤍 White — Female name starting with W
🩷 Magenta — Female name starting with M
💜 Purple — Female name starting with P
💚 Green — Male name starting with G
🧡 Orange — Male name starting with O
💛 Yellow — Male name starting with Y
🖤 Black— Male name starting with B
❤️ Red — Male name starting with R

✨ But there’s a catch… we want unique names ✨

We’re looking for names that are fun, creative and a little different. Think outside the box!
That means we’re skipping the classics this time around — no Max, Charlie, Bella, Daisy, Luna, Nova, etc. We want names as unique as these little pups! 🐾

With nine growing puppies in our care, every dollar helps! Funds raised will support their food, supplies and essential veterinary care as they grow. You’re not just helping give a puppy their name — you’re helping give them a healthy start!

🐾 How to enter:

Donate $5 per name submission by e-transfer to:
📧 [email protected]

In the e-transfer notes, include the puppy’s collar colour and your name choice.

🧾 Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. If you would like a tax receipt, please include your full name, mailing address, and email address in the notes of your e-transfer.

🏆 Then you get to vote!

Once submissions close on Thursday, October 1st at 9:00PM, our team will select the top 3 unique names for EACH puppy. We’ll share the finalists in polls on our Instagram Stories, and YOU will vote to choose each puppy’s official name!

Get creative, send us your best names and help support our newest little rescues along the way!

🐾 We’ve welcomed 9 tiny new arrivals into our care! 🐾

That’s right — 6 boys and 3 girls, and they’re only 2 weeks old!

These little ones came to Fetch + Releash as the result of an accidental litter.

This is exactly why spaying and neutering is SO important. You may think an accidental litter could never happen — but it can, and it can happen very quickly. Spaying and neutering helps prevent unwanted litters and reduces the number of dogs needing rescue support.

Now, we have 9 little mouths to feed, 9 puppies to name, and LOTS of puppy supplies to stock up on! 🐶

Keep an eye on our social media over the coming days because we’ll be sharing ways you can help support our newest arrivals — including helping us choose their names! 👀

🏡 And in about 6 weeks, we’ll be looking for foster families! Once these little ones are old enough and ready, they’ll need loving foster homes to help them continue growing and learning. If you’re interested in fostering a puppy, please sign up to become a foster and get ready to join their journey!

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: These puppies are NOT currently available for adoption, and we are not accepting adoption applications for them at this time. They will become available in the coming weeks when they are old enough and ready.

Please watch our social media for an official announcement when applications open.

For now, welcome to Fetch + Releash, little ones! 🐾
