Before that blue shirt goes on, there’s work to do. 💚 Our Leaders in Training (LIT) have been putting in the hours over the last month, going through interviews, training sessions, and everything it takes to show up as exceptional volunteers at our BGC West Scarborough Summer Camps.

We can’t wait to see them in action. 🙌

Last Sunday our team headed over to Michaels on Warden Ave for their Party Shop event to represent BGC West Scarborough! 🎨💚 We set up a table, brought our banners, and connected with the community as part of Michaels’ ongoing fundraising partnership with to empower kids through creativity.

Thank you to Michaels for having us and for supporting BGC programs across Canada! 🙌

BGC Club Day 2026 at BGC West Scarborough and it did not disappoint! 🎉💚

Every year we celebrate the incredible impact BGC Clubs have on children and youth across Canada, and this year we went all out with a massive carnival-style celebration for our community.

A huge thank you to BrandActive for funding the event and making our kids’ dreams come true. 🎈🎡

We were happy to help organize and participate in a Soft Skills training session for supervisory staff across the BGC Toronto Network today! 💚🙌

Investing in our staff means investing in the young people we serve, and we love seeing Clubs across the network come together to learn.

Shoutout to for hosting and to for being part of it. A special thank you to Samantha Timbers for facilitating such a great session! 💚

We’re so incredibly proud of our Programs Director Diana Gatti, who received the Innovation Award BGC Canada’s National Conference in Winnipeg last week! 🏆💚

This award recognizes clubs whose work has made a real and lasting difference in the lives of the children, youth, and communities they serve. Diana has poured so much of herself into our Employment Programs over the years and watching her be recognized on a national stage for that work means everything to us.

Diana, you deserve every bit of this. Thank you for all that you do for West Scarborough. 🌟
