In partnership with international NGOs and grassroots organizations, IDRF helps disadvantaged individuals across the world where poverty, illiteracy and disease are rampant. Our programs rebuild communities through the provision of humanitarian aid, primary education, health care, clean water and sanitation, and create opportunities for income generation. In Canada we are dedicated to empowering local youth with programs that focus on peer tutoring for school-aged children, navigating the job market and teaching young women the digital skills to enter Tech. For a few hours, these children got to just be children. 💚

Inside an IDRF tent in Gaza, kids clapped, sang, danced, and laughed together, joined by entertainers, familiar faces in costume, and small gifts from our team. It's a simple scene, and for children who have lived through so much, a moment like this matters.

Through our Psychosocial Support program, we create safe spaces where children can play, feel joy, and begin to heal, alongside the routine and care they need.

This is only possible because of supporters who keep showing up for the children of Gaza.

What a weekend. 💚🇵🇸

Over two nights in Ottawa and Toronto, more than 1,500 of you came together for A Night for Gaza, and together we raised nearly $5 million, a record-breaking result for IDRF.

To our team, volunteers, partners, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you. This happened because of you.

The true measure of these nights is what reaches families in Gaza. Our team on the ground sees the need every day: clean drinking water, food, healthcare, fuel, shelter, and other essentials. With winter approaching, those needs will grow. Your generosity means we can respond to more of them and reach more people.

And we're not done yet. Calgary (Oct 10) and Vancouver (Oct 11), we'll see you this weekend.

Three years since the genocide in Gaza began, Gaza has left the headlines, but not the crisis.
For families in Gaza, the need is still urgent. Many remain displaced, and so much of daily life is still out of reach.

IDRF has stayed. Through your support, our teams have remained on the ground, delivering clean water, emergency food parcels, medical supplies, tents, hygiene items, and psychosocial support for children, through every stage of the past three years.

Hundreds of us came together at St. Patrick's Island to run, walk, and show up, for each other, for community, and for Lebanon.

When the floods hit, they didn't just take homes; they took classrooms too.

For one young girl in Pakistan, a single school is all that remains. She still goes every day, holding onto a dream that hasn't washed away with everything else: becoming a lawyer.

Education isn't just her path forward. It's her way of rebuilding a future the floods tried to take from her.
