Take Action Now – Contact Your Member of Parliament
We need your help today.
Please send a letter or email to your Member of Parliament and tell them that Canadians support keeping good, unionized jobs at Canada Post. Postal workers are your neighbours, friends, family members, and essential workers who have served Canadians through every challenge, including the pandemic.
Canada Post is a public service that belongs to Canadians. Decisions that affect postal services and postal workers affect communities across the country. We need the government to hear from voters that we support protecting public postal services and maintaining decent Canadian jobs.
Contact your MP today and tell them:
* Protect good Canadian jobs.
* Support strong public postal services.
* Stop cuts that reduce service to communities.
* Keep Canada Post public and accountable to Canadians.
Every letter, email, and phone call makes a difference. We are voters, taxpayers, and community members, and our voices deserve to be heard.
Please share this message with your neighbours, friends, family, and coworkers. Together, we can stand up for the future of Canada Post and the services Canadians rely on every day
Canada Post is preparing to convert an additional 485,000 homes across Canada from door-to-door delivery to community mailboxes in 2027, as part of the Crown corporation’s attempt to modernize and return to financial self-sustainability.
In a statement released on Thursday, the postal service said the additional addresses are “on top of the 136,000 addresses in 13 communities already identified for conversion in late 2026 or early 2027.
