Last week, we highlighted sensory kits as a valuable travel tool, but they can be helpful anywhere a child may encounter unfamiliar, busy, or overwhelming environments. Whether that's a hospital, restaurant, theme park, movie theatre, school, or other public spaces.
Because every child has unique sensory needs, sensory kits can be easily customized with tools and supports that work best for them. We've shared a few common items above to help you get started building your own sensory kit!
At Dylan's Roar, we believe every child should have access to sensory supports where they need them most. That's why a portion of our fundraising efforts is dedicated to providing sensory kits to schools across the GTA, helping create more inclusive and supportive environments for autistic and neurodivergent students.
Drop a comment below and let us know “what’s in your sensory kit?”
