Toronto is setting aside $42 million in its capital plan for a new aquatic centre on the Rees Street parking lot along Queens Quay West. 🏊‍♂️🇨🇦
Plans include an indoor pool as part of the redevelopment of one of the western waterfront’s remaining major undeveloped areas. The proposal has also caught some nearby residents by surprise, with concerns being raised over the amount of community consultation so far.
