A heartfelt thank you to Across U-hub for volunteering with Ve’ahavta again!

Every few months, this wonderful team comes together to give back by volunteering on our outreach vans, making no-sew blankets, and collecting clothing donations for the people we serve who are facing homelessness.

Every volunteer shift sends a message to people that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Thank you for being such a dedicated partner and for helping bring compassion and dignity to all people.

A huge thank you to Rim, Rafi, Yonatan, Matan, Luli, and Emmanuel for spending the past year volunteering with Ve’ahavta!

As newcomers to Canada supported by JIAS Toronto, this awesome group completed their community volunteer hours with us, lending a hand in our kitchen and warehouse and joining us on the outreach van three times!

They brought so much energy, enthusiasm, and joy to every shift and made a real difference in the lives of people facing poverty and homelessness.

A special thank you to their mentor and counsellor Oded for helping to make these volunteer experiences possible.

The people we serve from our outreach vans need access to clean, fresh water. Especially in the summer heat. People sleeping rough face serious risk of dehydration, heat stroke, severe illness, and even death.

We’re restocking the vans daily, but we need your help to keep up.

Our vans have been running nightly since the first extreme heat warning was issued this summer. Demand for water and cooling supplies is just as high today.

People who are sleeping rough have no escape from the elements and are at real risk of dehydration, heat stroke, severe illness, and even death.

We've been restocking our vans every day, but demand remains high. We need your help to keep showing up for the people who need us most.
