Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a Macrame Keychains workshop with XYZ Storage! Facilitated by Monique Bergeron, this Macrame workshop gave their staff a chance to tap into their creativity while learning a new art form.

A huge thanks to XYZ Storage for supporting Vibe Arts and helping us store the tools and supplies we need to make workshops like this possible! We’re grateful to have partners who believe in our mission and in making arts accessible for all!

Today is Truth and Reconciliation day, a pause to honour the survivors of the residential “school” system, and the families that were separated as a result.

There are so many ways to show your support, but one of the most important things is educating yourself on the horrific events, and listening to Indigenous stories to preserve their truths.

As we strive to be worthy advocates for Indigenous people in creative spaces, we encourage you all to use your platforms as a tool for good, while remembering to leave space for those who have been affected.

We’re grateful for our collaborators who continuously lead us to learn more, and enable us to work in and with Indigenous communities 🧡
