新企会
新企会は１９７８ 年に設立された独立した非営利団体で、メンバーのネットワークを通じそれぞれのビジネスの発展・向上を目指す事を目的としています。
当初はカナダ移住の日本人企業家の小さな集まりだった新企会も、現在では１００を越える個人企業家の集まりとして着実に成長しています。
その成長に呼応して、会員は増え続け、活動もより活発になり、活動内容も私達の地域社会とカナダ・日本間のつながりに対しての利益に貢献することが中心となっています。その一環として新企会は１９９０ 年に奨学金制度を設け毎年５名の将来有望な学生達に一人＄１５００ を援助し、１９９５ 年に非営利団体としての地位を確立しました。
新企会は現在多様な分野の中小企業からなる会員とその家族、そして友人、その他多岐に渡り新企会に興味のある人々に代表されています。
現在活動は日系文化会館、トロント商工会などのカナダと日本を繋ぐ団
体との活動にも積極的に参加、会員の中には Canadian Chamber of Commerce や Toronto Board of Trade のようなカナダのビジネス団体でも活躍しています。

奨学金制度
Established in 1978, the Association of Japanese Canadian Businesses and Professionals (Shinkikai) is an independent, non-profit organization with the mandate to provide our membership with networking and learning opportunities to develop, grown and improve their respective businesses through mutual exchange and friendship. Since our inception, membership in Shinkikai has steadily grown and now represents over 100 privately owned companies. In response to our growth, Shinkikai continues to adapt to meet the needs and desires of our members and has become increasingly focused on contributing to the benefit of both the local communities in which we live, and to Canada Japan relations. To this end, Shinkikai established a student scholarship fund in 1990, and obtained the status of a non-profit organization in 1995. We are proud of the fact that our membership now represents both a diverse mixture of small-medium size business owners and professionals and also their families, friends and broad range of individuals who are interested in participating in our organization. Our activities extend to a wide range of relationships with Canadian and Japanese networking organizations such as the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC) and The Association of Japanese Commerce and Industry (Toronto Shokokai). Our members are also very active in many other Canadian business associations such as the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the Toronto Board of Trade. Some of our events include:
