Durham Deaf Club Annual General Meeting & Election is happening this June 27th at the DDS office in Oshawa.

The meeting starts at 1 PM and is open to non-members, but you must be a member to vote.

After, we will have a free BBQ for people that RSVP - membership is not required.

RSVP by email by June 19: [email protected]

If you don't RSVP then $10.00 for BBQ at the door until supplies last.

ASL Community Cookout & Celebration Through Signing

Deaf Services Canada is co-hosting with Belleville Association of the Deaf (B.A.D.) and Ontario Association of Sign Language Interpreters (OASLI) a free Community BBQ for families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and the Deaf/ASL community! There will be games and activities for parents and children, face painting, Deaf community engagement, and a fun, accessible playground! We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks!

When: July 25th, 2026
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Where: Tom Gavey Pavilion, Zwick Island, Belleville, ON

Join us for an open and informative discussion with special guest presenter Alexandrose (William) Dayment. This workshop will provide education, awareness, and a safe space to learn and ask questions about sexual health.
