Hi everyone,
Today at Toronto Family Residence

Today’s visit was a fun and interactive learning experience on ECO-HOME & CONSCIOUS CHEMISTRY: SCIENCE OF SUSTAINABLE LIVING

Participants learned about safe use of household cleaning chemicals, followed by a hands-on baking soda and white vinegar experiment. Shared a step by step instruction manual on making their own cleaning agent with safety guidelines.

We also discussed recycling and proper waste sorting, with participants sharing their knowledge and experiences.

We wrapped up the session with karaoke, which provided an enjoyable opportunity for everyone to relax, socialize, and have fun.

Overall, participants were engaged, interactive, and enjoyed the balance of learning and recreation.

Children’s Program.

Building strong, caring communities starts with our youngest leaders!
Yesterday at Toronto Family Residence, our amazing young participants stepped into their roles as Citizens and Kindness Champions!
Through hands-on Kindness Mapping, the kids explored what empathy and respect look like in action within their daily routines. They put those lessons right into practice through creative roleplay scenarios—learning how to navigate boundaries, communicate kindly, and support one another.

To top off an inspiring day, everyone got creative crafting handmade Community Helper Thank-You Cards to show gratitude for the everyday heroes who keep our neighborhood safe and supported. 💌 ✨
Watching these bright minds lead with empathy and positivity reminds us that no act of kindness is ever too small.

Every child deserves a place where they feel safe enough to be themselves. 🤍

A place where someone listens.
Where their voice matters.
Where they can learn, connect, grow, and simply be a child.

Through our Child & Youth Program, we’re working to create those spaces for children and young people who may be navigating difficult circumstances.

Because sometimes, the impact isn’t just in what we provide.

It’s in the confidence that grows.
The friendships that are formed.
The sense of belonging that returns.
And the moment a young person realizes:

“I am seen. I am heard. I matter.”

This is why the work matters.
