Today marks the last day of Summer Camp, and what an incredible summer it has been! ☀️🎉

We are so thankful to everyone who helped make this summer such a special and memorable experience for our children and youth. A huge thank you to N C Crossroad Lanes for welcoming us for a fun day of bowling, to the Thompson RCMP and the Thompson Fire Department for providing amazing and educational tours, and to bus drivers for providing safe and reliable transportation for our children and youth throughout the summer.

Over the summer, we shared so many laughs, adventures, activities, friendships, and unforgettable moments. From field trips and outdoor fun to crafts, games, learning opportunities, and trying new things, it has truly been a summer filled with wonderful memories!

Thank you for an unforgettable Summer Camp! We can't wait to see you all again soon! 💚

Youth Build helps young adults build confidence, strengthen their skills, continue their education, and gain real-world work experience.

Participants will receive:

📚 Academic upgrading
💼 10-week job placement
🤝 Support to help you build your next steps

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ Between the ages of 18–29
✅ Not graduated
✅ Underemployed, unemployed, or receiving social assistance

🌱 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💚

Our new sod is being installed at BGC Thompson on August 15, and we’re looking for a few amazing community members to help us keep it watered and healthy during its first week!

Because the Club isn’t currently open during the evenings or weekends, we need volunteers who can help with watering at 7:00 AM and/or 7:00 PM from August 16–21.

💧 Location: 365 Thompson Drive
💧 Watering takes approximately 2 hours
💧 Sprinklers and everything you need will be provided!

Even helping with one watering shift would make a huge difference. 💚

💙 What an incredible four days.

Rylen’s Land Based Adventure Camp was built on love, community, and a shared commitment to creating meaningful experiences for northern youth. None of this would have been possible without the generosity, time, and support of so many amazing people and organizations.

To every sponsor, donor, volunteer, mentor, boat operator, Knowledge Keeper, staff member, and our anonymous funder—thank you. You helped create memories, build confidence, teach new skills, and connect youth to the land in a truly special way.

A special thank you to Lisa and Ray Solski for trusting us with your vision. It was an honour to help bring this meaningful camp to life in Rylen’s memory. ❤️
